Clear. Concise. Transparent.

FHSCorp

"We want to do a math problem and write a letter…".

That's the statement that started our healthcare revolution. Consumers agree, the time has come for healthcare cost clarity. The complexity of the contractual reimbursement, the definition of the reason for the healthcare visit, and the validity of the patient-specific insurance benefits all contribute to the difficulty in estimating a credible out of pocket amount. Until now…

As the leading pricing transparency service organization, we combine compelling data with a sophisticated web-based solution to provide meaningful cost information for every patient. Knowledge is king. Those who provide it are innovators in healthcare. Those who receive it are empowered to take charge.

FHSClearQuote™ — Hospitals

Healthcare is entering uncharted territory. Patients are absorbing more of the financial burden of care making patient satisfaction more than just the procedural experience. Patients want to participate in all aspects of their care from clinical to financial, yet rarely do they understand the complexities of healthcare as it stands today. Ask any patient to explain their benefits related to the services they are seeking and you will witness bewilderment and frustration.

FHSClearQuote™ — Physicians

Gone are the days where patients expect to only pay an office visit co-pay at the point of service. After receiving complex EOBs and bills post service, they are more confused than ever regarding the amount they owe out-of-pocket. Many want to hit this head on prior to service. Yet, when reviewing the myriad of information on their insurance card, they are perplexed. How can they plan to pay for their treatment?

FHSClearQuote™ — Ambulatory Surgical Centers

Try explaining multiple CPT-based procedures from facilities and providers to a patient in an intelligible and concise manner while presenting a joint estimate…it is near to impossible. A patient may undergo several procedures without the provider collecting a simple co-pay. Once that patient is out the door, the cost to collect increases while the probability to collect decreases.

Services

Our clients rely on us to wade through the complexities of healthcare transparency, analyze the data, and produce credible and defendable information. For those who ask, we give them the tools to continue their efforts themselves with as little or as much assistance from us as necessary. It's our belief that all healthcare organizations should have the ability to communicate the financial aspects of the care they provide to their patients efficiently and effectively. That's really what this is all about to us. We love what we do so much that we have a single focus: we will impact the future of healthcare.

Efficient. Credible. Clear.

Product Information

Patient responsibility estimates are a necessary element to increase collections at or before the time of service. Healthcare providers are using estimates not only as a means to increase POS collections, but also to increase customer satisfaction by educating the consumer about their benefits and financial responsibility.

FHSClearQuote™, offers providers a secure, web-based solution by combining the information from their contracts with payers, historic charges, and current patient benefits to calculate the patient's out of pocket responsibility. ClearQuote guides users through a five-step process to capture necessary patient demographic, procedure, and benefit information to generate a financial responsibility estimation letter for the patient.

Hospitals

Healthcare is entering uncharted territory. Patients are absorbing more of the financial burden of care making patient satisfaction more than just the procedural experience. Patients want to participate in all aspects of their care from clinical to financial, yet rarely do they understand the complexities of healthcare as it stands today. Ask any patient to explain their benefits related to the services they are seeking and you will witness bewilderment and frustration.

Hospitals need a tool to facilitate an educational discussion about financial responsibility with the patient. They need a company that understands the users and process utilized to determine the financial liability. They need support to identify, defend, and report the financial information the consumer requires. FHSCorp is the company. FHSClearQuote™ is the tool.

Physicians

Gone are the days where patients expect to only pay an office visit co-pay at the point of service. After receiving complex EOBs and bills post service, they are more confused than ever regarding the amount they owe out-of-pocket. Many want to hit this head on prior to service. Yet, when reviewing the myriad of information on their insurance card, they are perplexed. How can they plan to pay for their treatment?

Physician offices experience the same challenges as hospitals. They need to bring revenue in the door earlier and explain the nuances of benefits administration married with procedure costs and payer contracts. FHSClearQuote™ gives you the power to determine patient financial responsibility and express these out-of-pocket costs in a clear and consistent manner. Now you have the power to change the patient experience.

Ambulatory Surgical Centers

Try explaining multiple CPT-based procedures from facilities and providers to a patient in an intelligible and concise manner while presenting a joint estimate…it is near to impossible. A patient may undergo several procedures without the provider collecting a simple co-pay. Once that patient is out the door, the cost to collect increases while the probability to collect decreases.

The inconceivable becomes achievable with FHSClearQuote™. Now you can bring together two disparate entities, each with their own payer agreements, procedural charges and benefit explanations into one cohesive, comprehensive and clear financial estimate. Imagine the possibilities….

Having the opportunity to develop one the first transparency solutions and having the application you built be recognized as a leader in the forefront of change in healthcare, still just amazes me and pumps me up!!! I have been blessed with some great business partners and an awesome family! You need everyone to participate, and never give in, when you set a goal as grand as impacting the future of healthcare!

Recognizing this as a true strength, David went back to school and achieved a post-graduate degree in Information Technology. John Woody
Chief Information Officer

John Woody

Experience:
I joined FHS with a background in information technology and consulting. When I joined I was new to the healthcare space; my career up to this point has been in the finance and mortgage industry working with American Management Systems, LendingTree, Mortgage Cadence, and an independent consulting firm. Most helpful in my position at FHS has been my experience of managing the operations of a mid-sized software product company (design, support and product direction). I received a Bachelor of Science degree in both mechanical and biomedical engineering from Duke University and I remain an avid Duke basketball fan.

Passions:
I moved from the East coast to the Denver area in 2004 and I live in Highlands Ranch with my wife and two awesome children. I love all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, namely biking, skiing, and camping. I would be kidding you if I didn’t admit that having two young kids has slowed me down a bit, both literally and figuratively.

Larry Estes
Regional Vice President

Larry Estes

Background:
I like solving problems. Give me some duct tape, pliers and a screwdriver and I am content. (However, I am on a first name basis with Craftsman.) Satisfaction is when something that wasn't working well now is, whether through creativity or tenacity.

I have learned that a full toolbox makes life easier. This applies to hospital financial management as well. We are in the midst of a major shift in healthcare economics and FHS is at the forefront of a new business paradigm with the right tool, at the right time, to help hospitals succeed.

As for experience, I have established a career as a high level sales executive and trainer, managing multi-million dollar territories within different industries. Even though I have represented several Fortune 100 companies, I’m even more excited about how FHS can impact patients and their healthcare.

Passions:
Travelling with my family, singing, jazz and Steelers' football! Oh yeah…and good food.

Favorite Quotes:
"Good enough isn't enough, it is ever the enemy of the best."

"The passenger needs to get to the hospital? What is it?" "It's a big building with sick people inside, but that's not important right now." – Airplane, 1980

Reliable. Vital. Visionary.

Partners

"Jack of all trades…masters of none". We have all heard this statement before. We realize the truth therein. Yet in the healthcare sector, many companies believe they can stand alone in the development of complete solutions which cover a wide range of functionality. We disagree. The rest of business realizes the benefits of having companies focus on limited functionality. FHS Corp finds organizations that provide the best solutions for their area of focus. We combine the benefits of each and help create these "all in one" solutions providing seamless integration with the unrelenting focus of single functionality. Together we impact the future of healthcare.

We select partners who are truly strategic to our vision and our cause. To explore becoming a partner of FHS, please contact Travis Gentry at 303.216.0202.
